Reactor 4

Reactor 4 is an original piece of textile art based on the Chernobly disaster. Nature will always return eventually, no matter what we as humans do.
 
The embroidery is made completely from up-cycled materials, all the threads, fabric and even the hoop are second hand as I don't want the manufacturing of these items to contribute to the problem.
 
The piece is hand stitched with paint, paper and applique added. It is mounted on a 16cm (6 1/2") hoop and is ready to hang.
