This original textile art piece is made using patched pieces of fabric that are hand and machine stitched, dyed, painted and a variety of other techniques.
 
While I am stitching I like to think, who has walked these corridors? Why is it empty now? Who was the last person to close the door and leave the building? My old sewing machine would have been from around the time the building was built, did their paths ever cross in any way?
