Peace Flower

This embroidered peace flower is a small act of hope.
 
While much of my work explores themes of abandonment, environmental damage and decay, this piece looks towards the possibility of something better. It reflects a belief that peace, however distant it may seem, remains worth striving for. The flower becomes both a symbol of resilience and a quiet form of resistance against conflict, division and despair.
 
Created entirely from reclaimed materials, including second-hand fabric, thread and hoop, the piece is hand embroidered with ink, gold thread and beads that catch the light and contrast with the darker themes often found elsewhere in my work.
 
Framed in a 13.5cm hoop and ready to hang.
