Keine Macht

Keine Macht is an original piece of hand and machine embroidery.
 
The name means "no power" and was named after a song by Terminal Choice. 
 
Imagine what has happened to make this old beautiful staircase come into such disrepair. Is it war, nuclear disaster or just the passage of time? Can you imagine crunching through the rubble on the stairs as you explore? Wondering what can be seen through the window at the top. 
 
It is hand and machine stitched with added applique, ink and dye.
 
It measures 31 x 22cm ( 31 x 37 cm including cord) and is ready to hang.
